Bombstrike: Born into this

Bombstrike crusts away like that’s the only option they have, which it just might be when I think about it. They also utilize the services of one extremely annoying vocalist, which is a shame as the actual music isn’t completely reeking of horseshit. I never had much of a hard-on for this genre, so basically I’m not the most suitable fucko to give this a proper coverage, but since my internet’s been down for over a month and I have nothing better to do – I might as well cover whatever shit is sent to GD thru regular mail.
Bombstrike, yes… They have their moments though they are few, but as soon as I’m noticing myself tapping my foot, the fucken vocalist enters the picture and destroys it all for me. He sounds way too forced to make sense in this crust mess. It’s not like Bombstrike will win any awards for best production either, but I’m certain it’s all made on purpose just to make this sound quite dirty, distorted and under-produced. They prolly think it’s a charming effort soundwise while I definitely wish for more than what’s given to me here.
Not much to say really, to write material for an album like this you need like 15 minutes, a crate of beer and any first 3 crust chords that you can come up with. If you are into the mentioned genre, there’s no reason you won’t like what Bombstrike is about if you can ignore the awful vocals. I sure can’t. But I won’t deny they actually write some decent crust. As I’m sure I have stated before: the only problem is that crust actually kinda sucks if it’s not incorporated into the music like Vomitory’s doing it.
